DSPEC Question

I have an 04 G35x AWD Sedan - bought new Eibach sportline springs & DSpecs. The shop installing the DSpecs is saying they don't fit - that they have a wishbone type bracket and that doesn't match what's on my car. Anyone have any idea what's up? Do you think I received the wrong part (a "shock" instead of a "strut insert")? The auto shop doesn't know what they're doing?

Are those D-specs listed as application for "x"? I do not know how different x is from rwd on the front...
Do they look like that?

There are two that look like this:

And then there are these two:

Here are the four box's part numbers (I assume they correctly reflect what's inside) = TODU3747, TODU3746, DE3748, DE3748:

They look right to me...But I never seen x suspension. I see no reason why rears won't fit,but you MAY have problems in the front.

I remember you can only fit the rear or the fronts but not both, I forget which it was but this was for the G35X AWD.

I think they looked at the front and saw it didn't fit, so they didn't go any farther. Ugh, now I've got to return the friggin' things

You can still keep the rears and by adjusting them change balance of the car. I bet x understeers, so installing rear shocks only and stiffening them will improve handling.
