New to infiniti and had a question

Well just wanted to say hello to all here and that i feel very lucky to have this group with such knowledge about such a great car. I have had it all of 4 hours so far and i love it. One question though, my car had 20 inch rims that the dealer has already put on the car. I wanted the regular sport 19 inch rims but these were on there so i took them. Does anyone know the correct tire pressures to maintain in the 20 inch wheels? The front tires are 245-35-20 and the rears are 275-30-20 i do not know if that helps at all but this is all i know thus far. The dealer told me just look at the door sticker and i see nothing about 20 inch wheels. Any help would be appreciated and again thanks in advance.

What year is it? There is no factory option for 20" wheels, so if it's used then those are the wheels that the previous owner had. But if it's new then the dealer put them on, because i've seen at my local infiniti dealership, a new sedan with 20" enkei's. About the tire pressure i have no clue, just ask the dealership.

I run my tires at 38psi. I think you should run a slightly higher pressure since the sidewalls are much shorter.

the max psi should be labeled on the side of any tire.

max tire pressure is just that, the maximum that the tire will safely hold. you should not be running at that high a pressure. as the tire heats up from use it will increase in pressure and then exceed the max. try starting at 38 and see how it's wearing if it's wearing on the middle then it's too much, the outsides it's too little. you can run a line of chalk or paint (thin line if paint, you don't want to lose traction) across the treads and go for a short spin, the chalk will remain where there is no contact and you can adjust the pressure from there.

Great suggestions

To answer, it was a new 2007 they had on the lot that the dealer had put on 20 inch aftermarket rims and tires, i did not care for them but atleast for my taste they were not chrome. I asked if they still had the original wheels and tires and they had said no they sold them.

It seems to me here in south florida people love nice bigger than normal wheels. So i said well they are on the car but i do not really want to pay that much extra for them so i did a bit of research and found you can buy them brand new with tires for around 2400 and we agreed on a price of 1,100 for the wheels which i thought was fair.

I will check my pressures and do the chalk idea dn see how it goes. Thanks for all the help so far and boy do i love this car.
