Is this bad bearings???

A few weeks back I got an 05 G35 sedan with 17,000 miles on it. Since I got it, I have slowly noticed a constant very low rumbling or wobbling sound from the passenger front area. Also, there is a light clunking sound coming from same area as I turn the wheels to turn corners or maneuver into parking spots.

well, tonight I decided to take a look. After jacking up the car, I noticed that I can wobble the wheel in and out by grabbing opposite sides and pushing/pulling in opposite directions. I removed the wheel, and verified that only the rotor and the wheel bolts move when I try to wobble the rotor. Everything else feels very tight.

To me this is a bad bearing. What do you think? Typically would this be covered under warranty?

Thanks

Andrew

Take it to the dealer, it is warranty issue no matter whether it is a bearing or something else.

I did take it in. I just prefer to know what to expect when I go in, to avoid being ripped off. Not that any dealer would do that.
