Best lowering springs for '06 G35 sedan auto sport suspension

I've being reading the forum and realize that most have gone with the 350z and coupe front and rear spring setup. However, it seems that this setup is for non sport sedans. Does this setup work for a '06 G35 sedan sport?

Yes it will. Z springs are still stiffer than G sedan sport package springs.

Actually, it's not a good idea to run oem 350Z or a mix of oem 350Z and oem G35 coupe springs on a non sport sedan. Non sport sedan's are underdampned to start with, running stiffer springs will make matter's worse. Eibach's developement car for their sedan pro-kit spring, was a non sport, plus some other aftermarket springs are also progressive and don't have peak rates that much more then oem, they should also work on a non sport.

So, to correct things. Sedan owners do a oem Z front spring and oem G coupe rear spring setup mainly to get the rear height slighly higher, to get a certain look they are looking for.

Some facts to help further.

Oem 2003-2006 sedan non sport spring rates
283/308

Oem 2003-2006 sedan sport spring rates
314/342

Oem 2003-2004 350Z spring rates (unrevised suspension)
314/342*

Oem 2005-2008 350Z spring rates (revised suspension)
314/427"

Oem 2003-2007 G35 coupe spring rates (car's delivered on oem 17/18 inch wheels)
314/342

Oem 200502007 G35 coupe spring rates sport suspension (oem 19 inch wheels)
314/427"

*If you keeping your oem sport shocks, avoid the setups that have the 427lbs rear rates, seek out the oem setups that have the softer 342lbs rear rates. Your oem sedan sport shocks do not have the recess capacity to run a 25% stiffer rear spring. If your going with Tokico D-spec shocks, that different.

I just had revised Z springs and shocks installed on my 06 G35 sedan with stock sport susp. Front and rear are lower to about 1in. The ride is slightly stiffer but not much. Handling is much better. Check pics here:
