DIY Coilover install

DIY Coilover install

Just got tein basic coilovers. Thinkin about installing them myself. Has anyone done this before? Need yous guyz's help...

I have installed them myself.

You will need a spring compressor since you have to take off the top of the OEM shock and put them on the basics.

Impact (Air) gun would makes things easier.

Jack stands.

A good set of sockets that will let you put enough torque to break (Loosen) the bolts on the bottom of the shocks.

Easy as cake

daily driver so can't experiment...can any1 recommend a shop in socal that will install for resonable price at resonable time

would think that a spring compressor would be the only tool rather more difficult to come by.. good luck with the install, dont be afraid to go to your local tire shop if something doesnt seem right

where in socal are you located? you can rent a spring compressor from your local autozone, they just request a deposit that is refunded upon return of the tool.
