On the Richie bar, do the ends come painted or did you painted them yourself? I like the red, but I would want to paint mine blue. Did you paint those yourself calvin?
they do not come painted. you have to get that done yourself.

actually, ARC had the design first. richie worked with nrg to make a replica. nrg was not suppose to release the bar as an nrg product, but since money talks...they did. nrg produced the bars for richie.

Kapvu, Calvins are painted red. They come stock in a greenish color.
they both offer the exact same room for adjustability. richie revised the mounts, and nrg is also using them...since they are the ones who make them.

Ooooo wow... tubing is a lot bigger and comes up a lot higher (same height or higher than the AC line). It doesn't seem like it can work... even with a normal setup, there is minimal room (rubbing)....I don't think you can find a bar that can fit over that tubing and clear the hood. Maybe VRT bar which comes in the front...but from the looks of your setup, the VRT might not even work.

yeah i didnt think any of it would work....the only issue i am having is just a tad bit of rubbing on the middle of the tubing coming off the throttle body....I was thinking of maybe adding some washers underneath the mount or maybe even moving the mount holes just a little bit higher so it doesnt rub....but then i think i may be hitting the hood after that.....

Here's my NRG (Richie's V2). No probs with standard Vortech piping, Crawford V5 plenum and Tein EDFC motors.

Nice setup. I read the installation file for the Richie strut bar installation, it doesn't require pre-loading. Why is that? I know on other strut bars you have to jack the front end of the car up and then install the strut bar. Why don't you have to do that with the Richie bar?
