Quick front rotor recommendation.

I posted this question in the tech area but I figured some of you might not make it over to that neck of the woods. Here's the link to the vitals:

Thanks,
Steve

I'm a big fan of the Pro-Slot cross drilled rotors. I matched them up with Hawk HPS pads. They don't leave any dust and they last forever (almost).

I like that idea, myself but the link shows my quick oem need. I'm just trying to get a decent parts store rotor and pads, quick and inexpensive the prime objective. I also don't know if the vdc, or abs require any consideration(ie: if or what parts need to be swapped to the new rotor as I haven't disassembled it). It's an '03 5at auto sedan, non-brembo.

thanks,
steve

Racing Brake slotted, both front for $109 (prices are for two). Drilled and slotted for $119. The Duralast OEM replecements from Autozone are $104. Racing Brake is supposed to be good quality and lighter than stock. Also make sure you replace both, not just one.

They arent that hard to change out just remove the caliper and pads and they come right off . You may need a rubber malot to get the old rotor off as they may be rusted together in the back. You will also need a piston depressor to get the new pads on. I would also say replace both rotors at once.

Site says it's $109 each, are you sure it's for two?

R1 Concepts has a bunch of different rotors for the G. Some are pretty cheap. Check them out

You are right, the price is $109 for each rotor.

These are a good product and you can even upgrade to 4-piston calipers down the line from RB.
