Anyone run a BBK with these 20" GT-7's?
Car is in storage now>> winter.
I am looking at the Stoptechs 6-POT 14" front & 4-Pot 14" for the rears. Any help would be fabo! Here is my wheel information. Volk GT-7 (Front) 20 x 9.5 +22 offset (Rear) 20 x 10.5 +24 offset |
You'll need to do a physical check on caliper clearance on the wheel using a printout Stoptech can provide you. The offsets, particularly the rear, sound like the ones for aggressive lip / low caliper clearance which would mean high risk of a BBK not fitting without spacers.

I got to inspect this weekend. I remember having 2 finger gap between rear caliper and spokes of wheels when I was cleaning back there. hmmm |
Two finger gap is not a wheel fitment chart. Don't be lazy and careless unless you're ready to deal with the consequences as most BBK manufacturers will not take bag a brake kit if you find out it doesn't fit after you've opened the package.
Trust me. I had GT-7's with a 10.5" +24 rear and ended up replacing them once I got my AP Racing BBK because they didn't have enough space. BBK calipers are much wider than your stock ones http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wheel_fitment.shtml Look at Ray's offset chart http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/...?modelName=GT7 |

And thanks for the other info! |

What size spacer did you have to go with? And thanks for the other info! I didn't use a spacer, I bought new rims because I wanted more clearance and didn't want to push that +24 offset out to something like +14. We estimated that a 5 mm might work but 10 should've done it. |
