Track Pads

Looking into track brake pads. . .i was recommended Cobalt friction pads (XR3 for front, XR5 for rear). . .they seem to be pretty extreme track pads taht will definitely get the job done as far as stoppign power, fade resistance in harsh track conditions, and should last one season of tracking (given i plan to go approx 1-2 times a month, for about 5-7 months). . .depending how much damage i do to my wallet . . .downside of course is dust, noise, cost. . . but likely i will switch out the pads after the track day and back to OEM. . .anyone have any experiences with cobalts? good/bad? or any other recommendations? perhaps slightly more street friendly track pads? since i really only drive the G on the weekends. . .allowing me not to always change out teh pads. thanks

I have been looking for a track pad as well for on 07 port sedan. Unfortunatly no one seems to make one yet. Was also thinking of a coilover with adjustable damping, dont think they are available yet either for 07.
You have z springs, how are they on the track? Do you have neg camber on fronts? I might try to do another day at Lime rock this spring!

i got z and coupe springs on (same spring rate as my oem, but approx an inch lower). i was abel to get my camber within spec. . .slight neg camber on front. though, this year, i got new aftermarket shocks, springs, camber kit, end links, etc, so my suspension is being totally changed out.
