dropping disaster

hey guys i started on my car today at 12:00 pm and now it is 5:24 and i only have the font pasenger side spring in holy sh#t i dont know if this is supose to be this hard and im so frustrated the bold that holds the A arm would not go in untill i jacked up the cars assyembly now that i know what im doing i dont think it will take long to do the other side o btw you dont need a spring compressor i just did it and it only popped a little bit not even enough to throw any parts or to even hurt a fly

not to mention its freezing up here in chicago and im working in the garage how bad dose that suck

ah that sucks.....dont worry though by the 3rd or last one it'll take 1/4 of the time it took your first but by then your already tired anyway, ha

I did mine over the weekend. Fronts kicked my ***. about 3 hours for the first one and an hour and a half for the second. And it was 60 and sunny.

Rears are cake. 40 mins max to do both.

disconnect the sway bar and bust a nut pushing down on the hub hard enough to clear the bottom of the shock.

i would assume that the newer the car the easier this process will be. ya?

Took me like 7 hours to do my fronts! Kicked my **** thats for sure, but it was fun!

I do Not know what you guys are doing, But it take me about 45 min to 1 hr for all 4 corners. I Do this with a Jack and jack stands. I did a have guy that came and asked me if it was going to take me 3hrs.
I told him HELL NO!

More than 1hr Guys ??? What is going on here????

Fronts were time consuming, rears were cake.

I had to use spring compressors and had no help, plus since it was my first time I took my time.

was it worth doing it yourself? Or if you could go back, would you just pay $200 for a shop to do it?
