Yes i will be receiving the calipers next week and should star work on them as soon as they come in. I am trying to contact racing brake for the larger rotors for the 1st gen g35.

I nearly have all the parts here for Alan's install, so we will be posting up pics for you guys when we get to that one here hopefully soon.

And I am hoping SOAD can come up with a fab'd hardware setup to create a kit for the earlier Gen G's. I'm really looking forward to hearing the progress on that!

I appreciate the interst and comments you guys are making in regards to this kit

I would LOVE to see those BBK on a first gen sedan! Hope this project gets underway.

I actually have put these on both an early model sedan and coupe. The rears will bolt right up, the fronts are completely different as far as the mounting point span goes. There is already a bracket that exists, but it's kind of pricey and must be special ordered from Japan - takes 3-4 weeks to arrive, and comes with all the proper sized hardware.

03 Sedan w/ G37 brakes
03 Coupe w/ G37 brakes

I had no idea how massive the Akebono calipers are compared to the Brembos. But the Brembos never looked all that impressive either.

Well we've got all the parts for Alan's car here, so just waiting to set up the appointment.

I hope the bracket for the older cars work out, I know there are some smaller mom-pop style shops overseas that do similar things with retrofitting brake calipers to various cars and such, but it's sooooooo hard and time consuming to get anything in large bulk out of there. it's much easier to just have someone here state-side make em. And that is in the works as we speak as well so hopefully soon guys

$2250 for F&R, man that is an awesome deal! You should sell a ton of these.

Alan, your BBK looks sick, we need to do a photoshoot.

Tony,

It sounds like the rear will mount up to a 1st gen sedan without modification. Would you be willing to sell only the rear kit?

This would be to add on my 2004 sedan (I already have a Stoptech front kit).

Thanks.

wow that looks great.

Yeh I'd like to know when you guys get the brackets done. $2400 for the OEM kit is a good price. Calipers are good size and look good.

+1, I've also assumed that the rears will fit on the older sedans, which in turn translates to Z's and G coupes as well, as the rear hub spacing on the bolts will be the same.

anyone interested in the rears only, (or the fronts etc) we can split them up in any which way, that is not a problem!
Call us though for specific details on your application!

we are very excited about the pricing on these kits and hope that these components find their way onto more cars
