Quick Coilover Question

I am having a set installed soon.

When do I get the car aligned?

Do I need to do a corner balancing too?

Thanks.

1. you get it aligned when you install the coilovers. They don't need time to set

2. Corner balancing is a type of alignment. If you have the cash to spare and if your suspension mods are done I would say go for it, but make them do it when you are in the car so that your weight doesn't throw of the ballance of the alignment.

Yes, they do. That is if they are new.

Give it 1-2 weeks.

Thanks.

One more:
Should I replace the front shock mounts with new ones?

O RLY? Where did you get this from? According to everything I've seen on the forum and in my experience is that the majority of the break-in happens during installation. Therefore, alignment can be done immediately.

Just pay for a lifetime alignment and have it done both times.
