Anyone use Rotora Rotors?

I have been using slotted Rotora Rotors not the BBK one with Hawk HPS for over a year now. for some reason the braking power is not the same as before. it seems as if it is not bitting onto the rotors like i need more of a stopping distance which is not good b/c i heard that the g is known for their brakes. i was thinking it was the pad. i am about tossing the pads rite now and putting in some EBC green stuff since i heard it had very good reviews. i will be getting a brake flush also. so my question is the combination of the two a bad combo or its just the way it is... any answer would be great

How old is the car? If you're losing braking power you might also want to look into the fluid and master cylinder.

It's the pads. Hawk HPS are a higher temp pad to resist fade, but you sacrifice initial stopping power/bite. I have heard that the Project Mu's have good bite, but I've never tried them. It's why I stick with OEM for the street,

Brake flush will affect pedal feel and effort (and ultimately fade if pushed to the limit), but poor bite, as you described above, is due to the pads. It's a known characteristic of the Hawk HPS' as well. I've experienced it on previous cars.

^ yea that was one of the reason that i was thinking also. i first read that the hawks were good an stuff... than after a few months later i read that they suck and all this stuff and it was eventually too late. and its been almost a year since i just replace the rotors and pad... and i still have a long way to go. i just dont want to throw away those pads and replace them wit new ones.

I use Rotora rotors. It's not the rotors, but the pads.

I have Rotora calipers, rotors and pads. Sounds like the pads to me.
