Has anyone used the Nismo R-Tune Brake pads? I'm looking for a pad that has higher performance (friction coefficient) than the factory non-brembo pad.

Do they decrease braking distance?

My local race shop's website says that they are "not recommended for use with factory brake rotors." Is this true?

I'm running the NRT's with my X-Drilled Brembo Rotors\Brakes and not seen any issues. Of course I'm not your Local Race Shop but I've had no problems with them.

 

I have the NISMO R-Tune pads and love them!!! I upgraded to Brembo X-Drilled when I changed the pads for increased performance and appearance, but I have never heard of no being able to use them with the stock rotors. Call around and get some different opinions from different shops...
