quick question about OEM rotors.

quick question about OEM rotors.

are they really one time use?
or is it possible to machine them?

kinda curious about it cuz i've heard theyre one time use and that you can machine them.

You can machine them as long as they meet the minimum thickness when you're through. It should be cast into the rotor itself.

For the 2004 car the standard is 24 mm and the minimum thickness is 22 mm. Max "run out" (warping) is 0.015 mm.

alright cool. thanks for the info guys. got people telling me its one time use.
gotta do rears soon so i just wanted to get the right info.

Even the service manual says they can be turned.
