as long as they don't melt, they shouldn't have any negative effects on performance. the only thing i'm really wondering about is, what happens when ya gotta change pads???

Anything that blocks the free movement of cooling air can't be good. Just makes sense. Paint them or powder coat them.

the point would be looks...nothing more. i think painting your calipers doesnt look good, and having covers on them looks a lot cleaner. in the same way that having the brembo cover on the brembo's looks a lot better than painting them gold.

umm the brembo covers are MADE for the brembo BBK.. hence the fitment is spot on like a glove... with these POS's if I am w/in 10' of your car... I can see the grey caliper peeking its head from behind the cover... IMO (and in every reasonable-persons-O) dont do it

you dont actually believe that real big brake kits such as brembos use the covers right? There are no such things as "caliper casings" on true BBK kits. They are the calipers itself....

However, your idea is not as bad as posing you have brembo brakes, you are simply trying to make your stock calipers more appealing. What I have to warn you is, your rotors are still going to be the same stock size, so with a cover made to have your calipers look bigger, will make it look a bit......."weird".....just a thought though.

What is this "cover" y'all are talking about? There is no such thing as a cover in a true Brembo BBK kit!!! it is the calipers itself........

dude look at your mod list...you have some quality parts on your car already, why would you
want to rice out???????? alot of these products that are pretty and nice to look at also has functionality. You would have to glued the plastic cover on to your calipers and thats a joke. Just paint them red.

Wow. I know they exist, but I never thought I'd see them on this forum.
