True Coilover or OEM Coilover?

For those with True Coilover setup. Do you remove the factory coilspring and leave that space empty or leave the factory coilspring on and install the true coilover because I just bought a Stance true coilover for my G coupe and i need to know how does this work. Thanks guy

No, you do not install the oem rear springs, that would be bad because you'd have way too much rear spring rate going on.

You can pull the lower control arm/spring bucket out alltogether and install Battleversion toe arms since you have a true coilover rear setup. Doubt you can justify the cost in your case however. SPC toe cam bolts are a much cheaper option, comes down to need justification vs either.

Maybe I missed something and forgive me, but wouldn't you think his point in making the post was to get a reply that answered the question. Why would you bother replying and only put him off for another day and only if he calls you? Not picking on you, just doesn't seam like how we normally help people around here.

are the rear towers designed to support the weight of the car?

i'd think they were designed to handle the damping control
but not the entire rear corner weight of the car...

I have a set of stance gr+pro on my coup right now and I did remove the oem coilspring and left the space empty.I'm pretty sure that is what you are suppose to do..my car rides great with those coilover my spring rate is rear 5 and 12 front.have not had a problem yet.when I first put them on there was a clunking noise coming from the fronts and rear, found out that the pillowball uppermount bolt was loose had them tighten and no more noise so overall very good coilover.

i really didn't realize the G suspension are built struts and springs sit seperately. I feels weird with that cups spring holder empty. Does anyone here have a picture of that spring holder sit empty?
