I got my rotors from Rotorpros on ebay. So far no complaints and I drive my car a lot. I am not sure how the rotors would make less dust, but that would be pads that make dust. If you are getting pads as well, look into Project Mu and don't get talked into the Hawk crap.

Do you have the stock rotors? If you get the Hawk HPS & cross/drilled rotors, if you do an emergency stop @ 60+mph it will take a long time to stop because these pads need heat. I love my project MU and after going through a lot of pads through out my driving history, I will never settle for anything else.

Like I said I got my rotors from RotorPros on Ebay. These rotors are high quality material and are zinc plated, so you don't get that rust crap. I got my Project MU pads from Riverside Infiniti on Ebay as well.

I purchased cheap rotors from Brakeplanet, for my Coupe w/ Brembo cals. I think I paid $300 for the entire set front and rear. I've installed the front and have ~1Kmiles on them and Hawk HPS pads with no problems. I noticed that the brakeplanet rotors were cheaper castings than the stock rotors, for one thing the vents run the entire span of the rotor contact surface, rather than being smaller, staggered vents in the stock rotors and likely have less efficient cooling. They are also about 5lb heavier than the stock rotor I replaced. http://stores.brakeplanet.com/store/...&submit=Search

Overall though, I do not perceive a difference and think these are an acceptable substitute to replacing stock, especially given the price for an entire set.

I have R-1 concepts premium rotors (drilled and slotted). I painted the rotor surface before putting them on to inhibit rust in the drill/slots. I have had no problem, but think I should have gotten another brake pad like Project Mu (I have Posi quiet pads). Once I drove the car and braked a little, the paint on the swept surface wiped off and I was left with a coat of paint over the entire unswept surface. If you do this, make sure you use a high temp paint (whatever color you prefer).

I also have R-1 concepts premium rotors and Posi Quiet pads (also thier S.S. brake lines). I have put about 16k miles on them (I drive pretty aggressive) with no problems at all. I have just orderd replacement rotors and pads from them. I told them about the rust issue I have on the non swepted area of the rotors, so they are going to powder coat them for me for free since I purchased from them before.

What Posi Quiet pads did you get. I bought the semi-metallic and, although they don't put off alot of dust, I was hoping for better performance.

I have the semi metallic pads. Kitt is the guy I talked to at R-1. He told me that the Hawk pads give off a lot of dust so I stayed with the Posi semi metalics. I feel that this set up performs better than stock.
