I have only done the fronts - and only one time, it was a few months ago. It took me longer to jack up the car and get the wheels off and back on again then to replace the pads. Follow the DIY provided in the above post and you should have no problem. Using a C-clamp to compress the piston, removing the brake fluid reservoir cap and possibly some of the fluid itself from the reservoir as you compress the piston with the C-clamp are a few things you want to be prepared for.

Its fairly easy to do. I do recommend that you inspect the rotors before you do the brakes to make sure that they are also ok and don't need replacing. If they have grooves in them the most likely need to be replaced

Fairly easy. You'll spend more time on getting everything out, jacking up the car, and taking off the wheels than anything else. I did the brakes on my wife's '03 about 2 months ago and I ended up replacing only the front rotors and pads. Everything else looked good. I didn't run into any problems but I've got to say that I liked the OEM Nissan pads a lot better than the Hawk pads. The initial bite on the OEM pads is way better. Only benefit so far seems to be that they dust a lot less. They take a little getting used to, since they give a different pedal feel.
