help ASAP....G35 coupe, how wide for rears?

so what's the widest one can go on stock 18's on the back without rubbing. Car has .9" drop in the back. I was thinking 265/40/18. Factory size is 245/45/18 for rears.

There are many threads with this info. Check infiniti specs on max tire size.

I ran 275's and didn't have issues.

i am asking on stock wheels not on aftermarket wheels. Going 265 on stock 18"s , will it give me too much mushy/squirmy feeling on turn?
