You couldn't be any more wrong! Wall thickness, diameter, alloy/temper, bend radius, and other factors play into the stiffness of the bar. This is why you see different stiffness ratios for different bars.

Stillens work fine for me. I haven't tried any others so can't make a comparison.

Whatever set you can find the cheapest really. I'd tend to shy away from the Stillens though. I've read about 2-3 sets breaking.

Any set that's ajustable will be able to get your car to the handling you want. Hell, I'd highly doubt 90% here would even know how to properly adjust their bars anyway. I don't so I have mine on med/med I believe.

the op's question was for hotchkis vs stillens - both of which are pretty comparable. obviously there are lots of other options out there but ive never heard of complaints with either.

The Cobb bars are made by Hotchkis and are similar in specs, so consider them too.

For street use, any of the well known brands will do you fine, so go for what you can get the best deal on. That said, I have also seen some Stillens break.
