Bbk

I always wonder why people buy bbk eventhough they don't need them. Isn't that for track use?

A little of both... I drive decently hard and I used to think the same way u do when I lived in Florida. Now I live on top of a hill in Alabama and I've had a few times where I've had to slam on the brakes going downhill, NOT FUN. I don't usually tailgate, so I've been ok, but twice I wished I could have stopped faster... So, I'm upgrading. Nothing overly excessive though, well, maybe a tiny bit!

^^ BBK won't help unless you are boiling the fluid or heating up the rotors. which on a 1 stop, it shouldn't be doing. There is only 1 or maybe 2 kits that actually have provided data to show their BBKs stopped shorter. Even then the dist wasn't that much.

BBKs on most cars here are for the bling. Because for most people, all that they really need is a good 1 time panic stop performance. OEMs are great for that.
