Weird Brake Feel

Weird Brake Feel
I have an 08 G35Xs with 5k miles on it. I love everything about the car except for this weird brake feel I experience too frequently. On all my past car I would push down on the brakes and felt nothing coming through the brake pedal as the car came to a stop.
On my G when I'm braking, and I feel this mainly in city driving, I get this weird almost vibration type feeling through the brake pedal. It feels like If was somehow braking with my feet only (like the Flinstones) and not using brakess on the G.
It almost feels like I can feel every crack on the road and feel every spot on my pads as I apply pressure to the pedal to bring the car to a stop. This happens during normal braking at city speeds. I've also notice that on some streets by my house this happens all the time. Maybe it's a combo of the 18" wheels and the brakes providing the driver more road feel during the braking process. Anyway is this normal??? Next time I'm in for service I'm going to mentioned it.
Thanks.

Will wait and see.
The stock brakes on WRX lasted about 80K miles and I drove that car hard compared to the Infiniti.
