I'm Trying SOO Hard to Get a DROP!

So, rumor is there is a shop about 10 miles away that have an inground alignment rack, and they don't use computers... it's all by hand (oldschool). This presents me with new possibilities on lowering my car that can already not make it in and out of 50% of the places here... lol (Hello? Yes... make me an appoint to repaint my front end already).

Anyway... I have a 2004.5, and I noticed my tires- front and rear, and are SHOT with about 17,000 miles on them. They outside and center look brand new, but the inside has thread showing and the front are cupped (wavy).

I have 350Z S-Tech springs:
How much will these lower the G?
Should I get front and rear arms (looking at SPC) to correct the alignment since I already have majors issues with wearing and stock height? The car is not tracked, and I don't care if there is camber or not... I just want my tires to last.

I want something similar to "moog's" setup... some bags. But I can't afford it now so I'm going with the cheapest way possible, lol... which still isn't cheap.

I've heard 1-1.5'' on the 350z STECH?

Fix your toe! It will kill tires faster than camber. Set the front with very very slight toe in and the rears at 0 toe. Camber arms are good too.

Normally with a drop do you have to get front and rear arms?

GreenGoblin Nov 12, 2008 10:54 AM

AmateuRN Nov 12, 2008 11:15 AM

If you want optimal tire wear, and you don't drive aggressively the majority of the time? Yes.

AmateuRN Nov 12, 2008 02:23 PM

OK cool. That's the main thing I wanted to be sure of was spending the cash to get both. Thanks! Just double checking... it's a lot of cash for me at the current moment, lol

you'll be sad at the drop with the teins. i have them. sell and buy tanabes

I have the GReddy front though... will this not give about a 1.5'' drop? Putting my front bumper only a few finger widths from the ground...
