if you have the room in your engine bay and the money, sure go for it, it will definetly make your car a bit stiffer in turns and it wont feel like it wants to flip over LOL

I installed a Circuit Sport strut brace. It only cost about $135 or so and it fit well. The stiffening made a huge improvement in the way the car drives in corners.

This brace does allow for adjustment of adjustable shocks without removal, although its a little awkward.

It fits with a plenum spacer installed and engine cover removed. I think it fits over the engine cover without a plenum spacer. An a/c pipe touches on my installation so I wrapped it with plastic tape.

performance tires, sway bars, and sport springs will make a much bigger difference in handling than a strut tower bar... do those first if you haven't already.

+1. I added a STB recently, and besides the bling factor in the engine bay, I can't say its made much of a difference. You may also create new problems such as rubbing your hood, intake, or AC lines depending on the type of bar you install.

+1 to Joe_Camel's post

A strut bar is far less important than wider tires and wheels, stiffer springs, shocks and sway bar, lower springs require camber kit (and potentially, better shocks). Once that stuff is done, a strut brace does actually help. If you haven't stiffened the suspension, the strut brace is unimportant and will do little for you.

In my view, it is well worth the little extra money it costs (if you buy a Circuit Sports bar for $135 and not hundreds more for a fancy one that does the job no better) IF you have upgraded your suspension.

I only began to notice much body flex in corners after stiffening everything else up. Then when I put the strut brace in I was pleasantly surprised, as I had honestly expected little difference but there was a noticeable improvement in the sharpness/crispness of turn in.
