Cracked StopTech Rotor

I'm not a happy camper right now.

About a year ago, I bought a StopTech Stage 2 kit for my Sedan. Drilled rotors, Hawk HPS pads, SS brake lines, and MOTUL 600 fluid. Went on easy and worked fantastic.... Until today. I just saw this:

Anyone know if this is covered under StopTech's warranty?

all the big boys use them because they use quality metals and stuff, also they design the brakes to run cooler so heat stress wont happen.

& it sells cars.

Look at how many track cars use drilled.
There's a reason why they don't.

No coincidence that the crack runs right through one of the holes.

And? Do you know how much those brake packages for those cars cost (we are talking extra sir)? You have to consider that the construction and materials are going to be completely different and higher quality than some cheap replacement rotors we little import guys use.

drilled rotors are said to give better stopping power and cool the brakes better but it is well known that the design is fundamentally flawed because they tend to crack. Lets use our brains kids.

This goes straight to my point in my original post lol

Mike, how's the drain valve going for you, or err... how is your broken SC kit going for you? How long was your car running properly before you decided to get rid of it? Don't make me keep going.

There is no problem with the materials, the problem is in the layout of the drilling. I had a motorcycle that had three times as many holes as these rotors do and I rode it hard, never a problem. But none of the holes were as close to the outside as these are. I have had plenty of drilled rotors on other vehicles and there were no problems.

One of the reasons I went with dimpled and slotted as opposed to drilled and slotted.

Sucks that happened, let us know what Stoptech's response is.
