drop questions

drop questions

ok so im planning out my drop i would do springs but im scared to blow out the shocks. so guys that are running springs have you blown out your shocks ? and has anyone had any experience with megan or d2 coilovers because they have some good prices on ebay. is it worth the extra cash to go coilovers even if they are d2 or megan thanks in advance for the help

depends on how many miles on your car...will you need to replace them soon anyways? I would figure most mild dropped springs won't affect the shocks drastically...

I'd add Tein Basics to that list as well, you can get a set used with low miles for under $700. I've had them for 30k miles now and i love them. Although they have no dampening adjustment, their spring rates are perfect. The Tein CS are too soft and Flex are too hard for most people, Basics are right in between and far less expensive.
