OK, need some help here...I was drilling through the firewall to run the power cable for my amp and I managed to grind up a brake line pretty good ....it's the brake line which runs to the passenger side, on the top. I first wanted to simply use a tubing union to splice the two severed pieces together, but i believe it's 5mm tubing and of course NO ONE makes a 5mm steel tubing union. I suppose my first question is to confirm that the brake tubing is indeed 5mm? Note that it is coated in plastic so the measurement must be made of the OD of the actual tubing....Secondly, if I am unable to find a tubing union I will have to purchase a replacement brake line, so does anyone know which line (part number maybe) this is that I cut? Anyone with a service manual would be a big help, thanks! Oh and I have a couple pictures, I'll post with the rest of the pics of my DD / amp/ speaker install once I get this sorted out. Thanks again!
