Strange pinging noises coming from front OEM Brembo front calipers

Just recently I started hearing strange pinging noises coming from my front Brembo breaks. It sounds like a metal spring coil bouncing off. Does anybody know what the possible problem could be?

There is a metal spring clip that holds the pads in place - did you check that?
