it does feel good. i remember when i did the fronts, rotors and pads, along with my brother. it took about 2 hours, with the beer drinking stops. makes you feel good that's for sure and save you some $$$.

Are these the Centric blanks, or drilled/slotted? I'm leaning toward the centric blanks for my coupe as well when I need to change them.

nah trust me on my G20 I can do them in 30 minutes, the first time on the G35 it took me about an hour and 15 minutes including the adjustment of the parking break. Just get yourself a nice quality lift ( I got a 1.5 ton aluminum racing jack) and it makes the job alot smoother...

I have a track day coming up. I need to put new pads on my ride too and for me this will be my first time as well.

Can't wait! I'll be tackling this in the next couple weeks or so

Wish me luck fellas

hey just make sure to lubricate the pins and any metal to metal surface with the lubricant provided with the pads, this will cut down on the squeal adn screeching.

+1 for Paul

Congrats on the install OP. I wish I knew enough about brakes to install a BBK by myself. Brakes are such an important part so I'd hate to screw up something like that.

same setup here - centric black-hat premium rotors and project mu ns pads (already had stoptech steel lines and motul 600 brake fluid). works perfectly, but squeaks once in a while - pads are still settling in to the rotors.
