Im guessing the lower control arm ball joint??
Well I need to replace mine since its torn.
Can someone lead me to where I can get a new one?
Can I just replace the ball joint or do I have to get a whole arm?

you are correct it is a lower arm ball joint. And oem comes as part of the arm. However there are aftermarket companies that sell just the ball joint but you have to use a press to get it in to the arm.

 

is there any "play" in it? id say its fine if the boot is just torn. that tear will shorten the life of it, but as long as the balljoint doesnt have any play in it, it should be fine for quite a while

 

Unless u get water in it then it is gonna be screwed

 

Anyone ever replaced this??? I cant find the ball joint alone anywhere...
