Rear BBK rotor install question
I'm trying to fit my rear BBK on just to see if I like the color or not. I have the old caliper and rotor off, but when I try to put the new rotor on it hits the dust cover since it's 14" and the dust cover is only slightly larger then the stock rotor. You guys that have done BBK's what have you done to the dust cover to make the larger rotor fit?

I took off the whole wheel bearing and removed the dust cover.
That's the hard but proper way
The other way is to get some tin snips and cut the brake dust cover down
That's the easy way and gets the job done just as well
I use Motul RF600 brake fluid.
Flush the whole system and use fresh fluid.
If you need a bottle right away let me know
I have one and when you get your order you just
give me one back. I also have the motive brake bleeder system
if you need it, its great for the beginning then I finish off the bleeding
old school.

I got it thanks. Since I'm only test fitting them today I just used my air nibbler and cut it off. Took me literally about 10 seconds. When I get the rest of my kit and do the final install I'll pull the hub and remove what's left of the dust cover. Here's a pic of the piece I cut off. Thank god for air tools.
