Stillen Sway bar question

I bought my car used and the previous owner had done at least one mod that I knew about (AED intake). I wasn't sure if there was anything else. I was looking at some of the DIY videos and noticed that the sway bars in the video were black. Mine are red. Did a little research and I think they may be Stillen's. Is there a lable on Stillen's somewhere that I can look and confirm (part marking or something)?

Additionally, they have the 3 adjustable bolt locations for stiffness. The bolt locations are at the location closest to the end. My understanding is that this is the softest postion and nearly close to the original handling. I was thinking about adjusting it up a notch to see if I like the stiffer handing. Any thoughts? Also, since I didn't do the original install, is there anything more than removing the bolt and reinstalling the bolt to the middle position? i.e. do I have to unconnect anything else?

Thanks

I can't answer your question about the label, but as far as changing the position yes, just remove and reinstall. Tou will probably have some tension on it making it a little difficult to get out, but the endlink bolt has an internal hex in it that allows you to use and hex socket to rotate the bolt out of the swaybar is need be.

Yes, but pictures I've seen of the show a "hotchkis" decal or lable on the rear bar. These don't have that.

adjust them to the middle setting for medium stiffness on the front and back. You can always change it if you dont like it. It is a great handling mod for our cars.

Do I need to take the weight off the wheels when adjusting? Or can I raise it up on ramps to do it. (I thought the sway bar isn't loaded under normal standing.) I'll stick my head under the car this weekend and make the change probably.

Thanks
