Brakes Squeal

Good Luck! I think depending how old and how many miles your car have. 10K to 20K they might consider fixing the problem under the warranty. If it's a new car they should cover it. In many cases similar to yours they will give you a hard time, because in their opinion different drivers are differ of how they drive their car. Some drivers ride their car rough, or ride their brake to often causing the brakes to worn out quicker that the warranty intended to cover.

Or maybe you just hit a pothole and just need alignment, and brake adjustment. Maybe your backing plate moved a little bit causing the squeal.

When dealer sell a new car they have an adjustment period usually 12,000 miles where they assume additional responsibility vs your warranty with Nissan which does not cover items for wear and tear.

Brake squeal will most likely be your problem unless you just picked up your car from the dealership yesterday and there are 14 miles on it.

Seriously though, go to Pep Boys and buy a stock replacement set of rotors and pads for $140 and the squeal goes away. Just make sure which axle it's coming from first...lol

If u see that you still have brakes left on the pades, the way to fix the squeal is to use a air compressor and blow all the brake dust out. that always fixes it, trust me you dont even have to take the rims off just blow the dust out good
