Z/G Procurement

Sorry if this is a no-brainer but I've done some searches and I haven't seen this addressed in the many many results.

I'd like to do the Z/G drop as I think it gives a good look on my 05 Sedan without drastically changing camber and requiring a lot of other pieces. (As perceived from the suspension pic thread)

When I bought my sedan the inspection pointed out that a strut was leaking and likely I should replace all of them since they have 80k miles (Sport Suspension). So the question is, should I buy new Z/G springs and sport suspension struts from OEM providers or if I'm doing all of them I should really just buy some sort of aftermarket system? I'm hoping to remain in the ~1k range.

I don't need slammed or adjustability, just a nicer look and better performing ride for a DD. The existing sport suspension firmness feels fine to me and could probably go firmer without giving up overall ride quality in my opinion.

Thanks in advance for any advice for a subject that's probably been beaten to death.

i got the adjustable tokico d-spec shocks for less than $500 and they are great daily driving shocks and you can adjust them per the roads in your area. you can use the z springs and it will give a nice ride.

Both options of going springs and oem z/coupe shocks or d-specs are fine. It would be a matter if you could find an used set of D-specs for a price that's low enough to justify the upgrade. I would consider them if a deal came up. I was going to run the z/coupe springs on sport coupe shocks but came across a set of Koni adjustable shocks. So I went that route and am happy with the ability to adjust. And I ended up selling my coupe shocks anyway.

Thanks a lot guys. I think I'll go with the revised Z front, G Coupe rears, and Tokico D-Spec struts. The cost based on OEM parts (Sport Susp. struts) with Riverside vs. general internet searching seems similar. And might as well have some adjustability in case it's harsher than I expected.
