Whats up guys i tried to search for a similar thread but could'nt find one. i have an '06 coupe with a MD 5/16 spacer. Im trying to find a front strut tower brace that will clear this. I recently installed the one from stillen and found that it rubs and vibrates creating a f**k load of noise inside. Any sugestions as to one that will not present this problem.

 

GTspec front strut bar no problem clearing the 5/16 MD spacer.

I have a Skunk 2 spacer and installed the GT STB and it might rub slightly bit it is rubbing against the hood underlay, not the hood...I can tell you it made a huge difference in tightening the chasis up!

 

most will clear the plenum w/ spacer. Some will not clear coilovers.

 

Go with the GTSpec

What's the reason for not clearing coilovers?
