Z shocks vs G shocks?

I have an 04 G35 coupe, my boy just got new suspension so he gave me his 04 Z springs and shocks. Should I install the shocks also, or are they the same as G35 coupe shocks?

If Z-suspension is not revised, then it would have bouncy ride.

What does revised mean, and how do I know if it is revised?

revised 350z springs came on 2004.5 up models. they have a different spring rate.
