Stance gr+ coilovers

I'm looking at the stance gr+.. Will they go low enough to tuck my aggressive 20's?? And the spring rates are 12/11.. Is that the right spring rate so I won't rub?? Thanks!!

I'm not entirely 100% positive, but I've heard that Stance coilovers can slam our G's to the ground...

I think these are also the coilovers those Texas Swang & Bang Z owners use for their caveman stance:

Someone else, chime in and help this guy out!

I have the Stance and while mine is not slammed to the ground, it did the trick for me. I was told it can take it all the way down though. Here is a local 350z with his stance coilovers. I throw in a pic of mine too.

Stance will slam you to the ground. I still have 2" or so to go I believe, maybe more on my G sedan and right now I'm about an inch above the wheels with my 20's. As others have mentioned, it will drop the Z's to the point where you can't even drive.

Also, do you have the OEM setup (the one that utilizes the spring bucket) or the true coilovers? If true coilovers, spring rates are 12/5 kg....however, since it's a true coilover in the rear, it translates to approx 10.5 or somewhere in the 10's. If you need it stiffer, call up Stance and tell them what you want. I replaced the rears with 8kg, so I'm closer to 14-16kg in the rear...it was $40 per spring. Might do the fronts as well once I lower my car to where it looks like the rims are riding on the fender

Here's a couple side profile shots...mine is the one in white.

I'm running close to those offsets, My fronts are 20 x 9.5 + 3 and rears are 20 x 10.5 +0. So when converting to the next size up, it's pretty much spot on...I'm prob 1 or 2 mm more aggressive...Fronts on the coupe and sedan are close to each other so you won't have a problem with that. I got my wheels from a guy with a coupe (thinkdiesel aka cookie monster). I don't remember what fender work he had but I know the sedan doesnt have much room compared to the coupes, so I had A LOT of work done on that. I don't think you'll have much trouble getting the fender and the rim close to each other and I'm certain the Stance coils will do the trick.

If you get the true coilover setup, the one that doesn't use the spring bucket, the Stance already comes with them, but they are too soft for me, even on the stiffest setting because my wheel hits the fender sometimes and I'm already running -7.5 camber...I'll need custom toe arms made so I can add more camber and get the toe right so I can clear the wheel...so for the time being, I'm getting springs from Stance with stiffer spring rates. I was going to go with Swift, but $40 per spring is a good deal and I'd rather get it direct from Stance.

If you need anything from Stance, just talk to Scott, very cool guy and I've been in contact with him several times within the past couple weeks. Thing is, I bought mine used and they're still being very helpful.

I'm looking into buying stance also. I heard great things about them. A local G is slammed on 20's works and it looks Sick.

His are the OEM type coilovers. I'm not too familiar with how low those go, but the reason why I went with the true coilovers is so that I can replace my spring bucket with toe arms so I can get as much camber as I want and still have the toe in spec.

As for not wanting it to hit the fender, just get the fenders rolled and see if you get the wheels to tuck. If it doesn't, then with a fender pull you'll be fine. You definitely won't have to go through what I did. If you look at Shane G's car, he's running much more aggressive offsets than both of us and his wheels tuck into his fender.

My tires rub crazy on mine but the tires arent stretched and I haven't rolled my fenders. With the rim width you are looking at, you will have to roll them if you haven't already.

I'm not quite too sure about the difference between the gr+ and lx, sorry

If you're going that wide in the rear, might have to stick with a 35 profile, not sure if going with more would cause rubbing or what.

Here's a good thread to post in to get some answers as far as what tire sizes and what you'd need to do to your fenders, whether it requires pulling in addition to rolling them, or just the roll. https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...-ask-here.html
