It's time for new brakes & rotors; possibly calipers too. I'll upgrade my calipers if i find a good package deal. (have about 1500 to spend).

Pads: So looking for some recommendations from peoples past experiences. I did a bit of research and it seems that most people are going with Hawk pads for daily driven cars. So i've decided to go with either Hawk, Akebono, or Project Mu pads. Not sure if Hawk HPS or HP Plus yet. Thoughts?

Rotors: I'm not sure what to go with. Reason i want to change them out is because i believe they are warped. While braking - my car seems to jitter a bit. So.. with that being said.. swapping them to probably Centric Premium rotors if no one has any other suggestions...

Calipers: Thinking of swapping my 05 calipers for the 04 Brembos... other than that the only reason i'd swap them is for the bling factor really... because this car isn't being tracked. It would be an overkill for the streets. But if someone has a good deal i might just jump on it. Let me know.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Please help?... lol

O-hella is right, the Akebono is def a great upgrade if all you're looking for is stock like performance with show looks. With your budget you could probably source an OEM brembo package, but for a smidgen more than your budget you can get the Akebono set and be a little more baller.

You can find the akebono's here from Concept-Z-Performance

Very tempting... I could of sworn I saw a sale for this setup on here for about 1400. I guess my only question for this would be would they fit my wheels? (iForged Retro)

Edit:
Ahh wishful thinking... it's actually $1649. lol

Setup for me:
Akebono Infiniti G35 Front & Rear 14 Inch Big Brake Kit, 03-06 Sedan, 03-07 Coupe: $1649

Thoughts:
I doubt i need the Stoptech Rotors, SS Lines, and Motul Brake Fluid for my DD. Now to find out if they clear my wheels.

Thanks!

After market brakes RARELY improve single stop 80-100 mph panic stopping distances!
They often make it worse since they are not fine tuned to exact car and systems you don't change.
OEM are constrained with cold and wet weather minimums whereas aftermarket has ZERO requirement as to performance. They promise alot but deliver little as far as accurately measured stopping distances in adverse conditions.
Tire softness and quality represent 90% of what is possible in braking since ABS stops braking when slip occurs, therefore you want as little slip as possible.... EVER.

For a DD, I recommend:

- Centric premium rotors (they are the baseline used for the Stoptech slotted and are very high quality)
- OEM pads

With the money left over:

- stainless steel brake lines
- some Ate' Super Blue fluid

You should have all the braking you need for the street and then some.
