A Question About 2005 G35 Coupe Brakes

I just recently purchased a 2005 g35 coupe last week and heard that in 2005 the brakes were changed due to the previous ones not being so great. One thing I heard though was some 2005 coupe models have the crappy brakes, and some have the newer and bigger ones.

Now I've tried to do some research before making this thread but really haven't been able to find what I'am looking for so if possible could some of ya'll help me out and answer the questions I have below. Much thanks in advanced

1) Below is a picture of my brakes, do I have the old or new set up?
2) what size are my rotors if they are apart of the new brakes?
3) I read somewhere that the new 2005 brakes are equal to the brembo ones used on the previous models. Is that true?

1) Can't tell from the picture, the M6 had larger ones I believe.
2) Again ref 1)
3) They aren't equal, they are a downgrade performance wise, but for DD they are fine.

Explained in the below thread.

All 2005 coupes and sedans EXCEPT the AWD sedan had upgraded brakes.

I believe 2006 AWD models got the upgrade as well.

Your rotors are the same ones i have. Old or new setup? You have the new setup relative from 04 but obviously not as new as a 2008.

i bought cross drilled/slotted and counter sunk rotors and semi-metallic pads and my car stops like a charm for DD....cost me 250 all around and did the labor myself. I have the MT so im not sure if that makes a difference. (i think the MT comes with the "s" package??)

i have a 05 g35 coupe as well
