Alignment question
Alignment question
I have an 05 coupe with sports suspension. For some reason my front right tire is having inner tire wear. I have gotten it aligned twice. Once from a suspension shop and once from a dealer.
I have the stock oem 19's and i do not have a drop
And my tire is still showing signs of wear. Should i get a camber kit or some toe bolts to correct the problem?
Thanks for any positive input

dont know what that is.
The specs from my alignment in may were:
camber -1.6
caster 7.6
toe. 0.08
SAI 5.0
included angle 3.4
Then the specs from my alignment in Nov
camber 1.7
caster 7.8
toe 0.02
SAI 5.9
included angle 4.2
Thanks for any input

You hate to admit it but sometimes the person doing the alignment isn't very thorough and may miss the obvious or simply not look deeper. If you've had 2 alignments, pressumably at the same place, it may be that there are others issues they've not looked at: bushings have collapsed, a loose ball joint/joint, a spindle or strut is bent, or a strut tower is out of its normal position (due to factory misassembly, collision damage, body sag or severe corrosion), a weak coil spring, bent tie rod or worn tie rod ends. One final thing, sometimes you'll simply get a bad tire with weak rubber compound (i.e., low compound black) and it shows up as excessive wear all around or in certain areas.
If you can get beneath the car, you can perform many of these checks visually or begin to pull and push at the various suspension/steering parts to see if you hear a clicking sound or feel any play.
These are the classic problems, but I'm not sure they all apply to a G since I've never worked on one before (I only own 1 now), I'm much more familiar with older Volvos, VW's, Nissan trucks and Toyotas.
Good luck
