Rear rotors on 04 G35X

I started to replace the rear brakes and rotors on my daughters 04 G35X yesterday.

I noticed that there is a rubber plug on the rotor. I removed the plug and shined a flashlight into the hole to see if there was a bolt that holds the rotor onto the axle. I didn't really see anything inside the rotor.

Does anyone know what that rubber plug is for, and is there something that holds the rear rotors onto the wheel hub ?

thanks

It's so you can adjust your e-brake without removing the rotor.
