A Serious BBK Track setup

I found this online, thought some of you track junkies would be interested. It's a kit by RMS Horsepower. Emailed them and Russell is pretty cool. Could set up a discounted Group buy, if any of you are interested.

Testimonial from the site:
"I just completed my first track day at Thunderhill, California with my new brake system. I must complement Russell at 350Zbrakes.com for a great brake design.

I ran all day at 94 degrees outside air and had no problem with overheating of brakes like I had with the standard brake system on the Touring model.

I could just hammer the brakes coming down from 125MPH on the front straight and see no fade or smoking brakes. I had a great time and can only rave over how much better this system works then what I had to baby through the previous track days.

I am running 4 seconds faster than previous times and 15 MPH faster on the straights.

Just changed my tires and checked my pads and very little wear was evident. Previously I would have used half of the pads in one day because of the severe temperature with the standard system.

Thanks again for the system Russell. I can't wait for my next track day October 7."

If I was going to spend that much money on a BBK (which I have) I would opt for a Wilwood factory BBK kit, not one that was pieced together by another company.

Just an FYI, you can get the factory Wilwood BBK Front and Rear for a few hundred dollars cheaper than the $3700 from that site, even if you get red calipers and drilled/slotted rotors with a 14" rotor up front.

I highly recommend Todd TCE (forum sponsor) of TCE brakes.

it's more the rotors and the R&D you pay for, this isn't just another kit for looks.

^I got that, but I would think that Wilwood would have put more R&D into their factory kit than RMS did into their pieced together kit, I could be wrong. So the RMS rotors are supposed to be better than the factory Wilwood rotors? What's weird though is that their replacement rotors are much cheaper than Wilwood factory rotors.

if you read the info on the site, you'll see that these are completely performance oriented. not for everyone, not for most, not even for me BUT if i had a serious track G/Z it would be between these and Scott's RA kit.
