Front End....
Under heavy breaking or while the suspension is being work such a through a dip I hear a loud pop or clank sound from the front left of the car. Any idea what it could be?

Check your compression rods and your end links. You have any suspension work done lately?

No the car has 60k and needs new front struts. That is all I know right now I am planning on getting the car up on a rack soon to take a look and see what It needs.

Then it very well could be your struts. Over time they lose their ability to compress smoothly and they start thumping or knocking.
