Breaking problem any help???????
ok noticing for a bit now that my breaks are acting strange. when i'm driving and hit the breaks it seems spongy... i need to duble pump the break in order for it to really seem to work the way they should.... now i took the car into the dealer for a wheel bearing and they noticed it on a test drive they said they replaced the bearing, rotors and and they bled the breaks... now ive delt with it for a bit cause it never got any better now its getting under my skin and i really dont know where to start.... (((who knows if they really bled them))) any help on what to do or where to start???? thanks
A spongy brake pedal most likely means the brakes need to be bled. The dealer should warranty their work; have them re-bleed the brakes. You could also learn to do it yourself so that you know it is done right. If your car is more than a couple years old you should really flush the brakes. Flushing is the same procedure as bleeding, but you are getting rid of all the old fluid.
You have checked the level in the brake fluid reservoir, right?
