I just install my tein s tech springs on my 04 sedan and I had a question. Is it normal to hear a little banging noise, nothing big. Coming from the front when I go over a bump or something ? I tighten everything and still don't know what it is. Has this happen to anybody?

 

i'm new to infinitis, but check control arm bushings, sway bar components, or strut towers..

 

was the spring seated correctly?

 

no def not normal to hear this noise...after i installed springs i had a little creak in the front right wheel well and had infiniti check it and i believe it was the control arm bushing or something small that needed replaced...if your dealer is cool with mods then they can probably tell you if not have a local mechanic look if you cannot figure it out

 

i checked everything and still cant find whats wrong with it fml!!!

 

What kind of wheels do you have and what are the specs on those and your tires?

Is there any rough gouges on your tires tread?

 

i got the stock17s and naw they are not touchin nothing there is enough space for them

 

How much give does your front end have when you push on it with your hands? Does it feel squishy with little resistance?

 

a lil not dat much is more stiff than before but i know thats because of the springs

 

Check your end links and swaybar bushings

 

Could it be your shocks bottoming out? If you're running OEM shocks, they may be a tad long.

 

i notice today that the noise is coming from the right side

 

If everyting is tight and you hear a knocking noise, it might be blown shocks. I had that issue before. Replaced shocks and it went away. Took me a while to figure it out though.

 

did it make the noise when going over speedbumps? i thinks my right 1 is blown
