Coilover install help
Alright i decided i wanted to install my coilovers today, and thats what i started to do however i have a problem and I'm in need of some advice. I'm working on the driver's side front shock and I'm having a problem getting the swaybar bolt out of the lower control arm. I'm afraid if i hit it to much with a hammer it will ruin the end to the point i wont be able to get the nut back on. I also have all of the upper 3 bolts off the the shock and the lower bolt off of the shock and it wont budge, i also tryed removing the upper control arm nut to see if i could move the lower arm around with no luck. The rear lower control arm bolt is as tight as a S.O.B and i broke my socket on the passenger side bolt so i dont think ill be able to get it off. but if you know something i dont please let me know!! Thanks

I just did this a few days ago. With the entire front end lifted off the ground and a jack under the arm, I could pull the end link bolt out by hand. It couldn't hurt to have the wheels straight when you do it though. Try different heights with the jack, one of them should work. If you still have trouble, maybe compressing the spring with the spring compressors would help.
Also, if you haven't broken the nuts loose on the top shaft, it is best to do that before removing the strut.

i thought taking the swaybar off wold free it up a little more. But anyway i got everything off and put back together with the coilovers on and it looks great the only problem is there is a clunking noise coming from the drivers side front area and as i was pulling back into the driveway it kinda squealed as well, could have been the breaks but the cluncking sorta felt like the car was bottoming out, how can i tell if in fact that's what its doing?
