350z stock spring on g35 coupe

i am looking for a slight drop on my g35 . my friend has stock 350z springs and ive heard that will work out fine with my 04 coupe. has anyone done it and have pictures or and will it even work .

And the drop will only be about 0.5".

RBull had 350z boingers on his red coupe, you may be able to find a pic if you go back a ways, in the Cdn section.
