Tire scraping

I have a 04 g35 coupe with the sport package and some after market 20" in the front and rear. I just recently replaced the tires on my 20's from toyo to yokohama s drives. For some reason there is a scraping sound every time i hit a slight bump, which never happened with the toyo. I am not sure if my struts and springs are just getting worn (~60k miles) or if the tires are wide enough to scrape the wheel well.

Any suggestions or knowledge would be helpful.

What's the size of the new tires? What was the size of the previous tires? Any suspension mods?

If you're stock suspension, I wouldn't think you would have any rubbing no matter how wide you go.

Lowered? Then you're probably rubbing cause your new tires are wider.

^ exactly what he said.

And as for your shocks/struts getting worn down at 60k, it all depends on how crappy the roads are that your drive on.

This problems been bugging me for a while, the scraping does not happen as often now, but when i have a heavy passenger the noise comes back, and it sounds like the tire is going to destroy the wheel well

What were the specs on the old and new tires? 275/??/?? Perhaps the new ones are just a bit too tall, hence the scraping.
