Exclamation HELP: spooky handling, slip on turns, no control at higher speeds

I recently stepped down from oem 19's to OEM 18's.

My new tires set up on the 18's :

Toyo t1r on the front 225/45/18 and Toyo proxies 4 245/45/18 on the rear.

I noticed the problem when i was turning with the highway in my lane. I was speeding but only about 10 over max. Say 80mph. I know the turn and i have taken it with the oem 19's no problem what so ever, just plan and sticky.

As soon as i hopped on the highway i noticed my steering wheel shaking at 70+ mph.. with the 19's i felt safe driving at higher speeds but with the 18's and new tries, it kinda was scaring me. i starting loosing control at 70+ mph. The steering got worse and my car felt like it was wobbly and pulley.

Since i got the 18's, i took the turn at 80 and all of a sudden i heard a nasty damp sound. sounded like my tires or something were getting caught maybe with the frame of my car and it pulled my car to the left (i was talking a slight right). i noticed the SLIP went on and off real quick on my dash.

Can someone relate or help diagnose this problem.

Did you get your 18s balanced before you put them on? And is everything torqued down correctly? And 1 more thing, why, in the event you noticed you were losing control at 70, would it even cross your mind to take a corner at 80? Lol

Wow really? thanks for valuable information..

I was taking the turn because i had no idea that would happen, i thought maybe my car was just adjusting to the wheel tire set up. My wheel was just a little shaky at higher speeds, how else would i have found out?

How did it go from almost loosing control to just a little shaky? Anyways, check your tires for tar bump that might have gotten stuck in them, too. This happened to my work vehicle. At 70, the steering wheel shook so violently I almost lost control, and it ended up being a giant piece of tar stuck on one of the tires. I couldn't feel it at lower speeds, only at high speeds.
